I. Comparative Adverbs
S + Verbs + Comparative Adv + than + O/(S+Aux)
For adverbs ending in -ly, we need to add more or less in front of the adverb.
Example: He can run faster than I can. (fast) Lan sings more beautifully than the other students. (beautifully)
I walk more slowly than my father does. (slowly)
II. Superlative Adverbs
S + Verbs + Superlative Adv...
For adverbs ending in -ly, we need to add the most or the least in front of the adverb.
Example: He performs the best out of all the players.
She finished her assignment the most carefully.
II. Comparison of equality:
S + Verbs + as/so + Adv + as + O
Example: He plays the guitar as well as Mary.
They cook so badly as I do.
